WFBL Game Cancellations and Make-up Games

Welcome to the 2008 WFBL Web Site and our Game Cancellation link –

this link will advise you whether the Games scheduled for any specific day

will be cancelled due to inclement weather and / or unsafe playing conditions …

We will try to post any cancellations by 4:15 PM or so on those days the Games are scheduled.

We will also advise you when the make – up Games will be held (if applicable to your League Division).

MONDAY – JUNE 16^th

It is now 2:45 PM Noon and the weather forecast is still calling for severe

Thunderstorms later on this afternoon until 9:00 PM or so evening …

To be on the safe side, as it looks this system is not going to miss us, we

have no other option but to cancel ALL Rookies & Majors games tonight !!

Therefore, by popular demand, ALL of the Rookies and Majors games (since they

are cancelled tonight) WILL BE MADE UP this coming

Thursday (June 19^th) at the same fields you were designated to play on tonight !!

The Majors Bye Game, originally scheduled at Acorn Hill # 1 on Weds., is hereby

cancelled and will not made up, unless it is necessary to determine

the overall League champion …

LET’S PLEASE USE OUR HEADS – HOWEVER, IF IT STARTS

TO RAIN AND THE FIELDS BECOME A BIT TOO WET &

UNPLAYABLE OR IF THERE ARE ANY SIGNS OF THUNDER / LIGHTNING,

FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY

CALL OFF YOUR GAMES OR PRACTICES --

WE DO NOT WANT ANYONE GETTING HURT !!!

If you should have any questions pertaining to Game cancellations or make-ups,

please address them to your respective Managers and / or Coaches ;

if they can not answer them, then they will contact League Officials for a proper response.
